Healing Balms
 
Fresh or dried herbs and plants, infused in either hemp, sunflower or grapeseed oils combined with beeswax – simple folk medicine. £9 for a 50ml pot 
 
Nettle - stiffness, pain, and inflammation will Relieve muscle and joint pain
 
Comfrey – aka knitbone, used on the skin to treat wounds and reduce inflammation from sprains and broken bones. Comfrey roots and leaves contain allantoin, a substance that helps new skin cells grow, along with other substances that reduce inflammation and keep skin healthy.
 
Daisy – our own version of arnica, will soothe aches, pains bumps and bruises and makes for a great working hands cream. Makes a good nappy balm, also use for minor scalds and sunburn, chapped skin, acne flareups and healing scars.
 
Dandelion – amazing anti-inflammatory properties, related to skin issues, dandelion helps soothe redness and swelling from skin conditions, like rosacea, cystic acne, eczema, and psoriasis, will make the skin look less irritated.
 
Chickweed - With anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and antifungal properties, infusions of Chickweed can be used to treat a number of skin complaints including; boils, sores, rashes, wounds, eczema and psoriasis. It will also relieve the itching and inflammation that accompanies many of these conditions.
 
Plantain – great for bites and stings, also for any skin irritations including eczema & sunburn. It is also used for rashes, such as heat and nappy rash, dry elbows, lip balm, make up remover, poison ivy, scar tissue, the healing ointment will soothe, moisturize and heal damaged, sore or rough skin.
 
Calendula - Calendula oil has antifungal, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial properties that might make it useful in healing wounds, soothing eczema, and relieving itchy rashes.
 
“Magic cream”
A deliciously divine luxurious butter made with coconut, shea and cocoa butters, deeply moisturising and suitable for use all over the face and body, or to mix with any other balm or lotion.

NOTE; These balms are seasonal, and only made in the Summer in very small batches. They are crafted over a complete moon cycle and so may not be available immediately.
