About the event

Come and join with us, Sam & Gabby, to celebrate Mabon, the Autumn Equinox in this transformative womens circle.

As we welcome the darker nights, we can pause in this time of second harvest to rest, to name what we are thankful for, to honour our bodies with some nourishing and restorative Qigong and Yoga, and a drum circle with like minded women, mirroring the season, welcoming balance and release.

Mabon, the Autumn Equinox, is a time of harvest and gratitude.  Come and experience a nurturing blend of  Qigong, Yoga, a powerful drum circle, and heartwarming songs. Together, we will observe the turning of the wheel, expressing gratitude for the abundance in our lives, and releasing what no longer serves us.

Event schedule;

Welcome and opening the circle.

We begin our journey with a warm welcome and introduction to the sacred space, calling and welcoming in the elements and setting  our intentions. Feel free to bring an item to place on the Mabon altar.

Followed by a balancing Qigong flow - Led by Sam, immerse yourself in the gentle, flowing movements of Qigong. This ancient practice will help you cultivate inner peace, balance your energy, and connect with the rhythms of the earth.

break and refreshments - Enjoy a selection of warming heart opening cacao, seasonal teas and nourishing homemade snacks. Take this time to socialize, and reflect, preparing for the drum circle.

Drum circle,

Feel the power of collective rhythm in a drum circle facilitated by both Sam & Gabby. Experience the joy creating rhythm together, express yourself freely, and connect to the heartbeat of the earth with songs of gratitude and release.

This sacred ceremony will allow us to give thanks for the blessings in our lives and let go of anything that no longer serves our highest good. There will be an opportunity to write a note to place in the cauldron to burn as an offering of release.

After a short comfort break, unwind with a restorative yoga session guided by Gabby. Using supportive props and gentle stretches, this practice will help you relax deeply, release tension, and prepare your body and mind for the changing season, ending with a deep guided meditation to fully consolidate the practice.

Closing circle and farewell; Conclude our time together with a closing circle. Share your experiences, receive a blessing message for the season ahead, and depart with a sense of gratitude and peace, having released all that no longer serves you to the flames!
